Well, it has been a while! I have been so busy with all of this toddler business, that I have neglected filling everyone in on our little family via our blog. I guess Mom can only say so much on facebook. So...here we go! Back to the blog!
The past few months have been FULL of all kinds of fun! The potty training has finally become successful - all the way. Pre-school came to an end for the year. Mom went part time at work and that means more time for us to be together. We all love that! I will post a few pics to fill you in on some more ofthe fun!
God has done some pretty amazing things with our lives and we are all really looking forward to what he has for our future!

Dad went to Africa on a medical mission trip - to Uganda to be exact. God did a lot of work in all of us as a result of this trip. We can't wait to see what God plans for our future.

Aunt Hope, Mom, Kat, and i went to the Dallas zoo. It was great!

I took swim lessons with my buddy Carter. We had fun getting acquainted with swimming!

We have had a great time playing outside so far this summer! The fountains at Fairview are a new fav!
We can't wait to go the the beach club Friday!
And then off to New Orleans next week. We are so excited to see family!

Slowly but Surely!!!

Well...ladies and gentlemen...I am almost there! I am almost potty trained. I am completely potty trained if I am naked and running around my house. If I am clothed...I tend to forget to potty. But, if I am naked...I use the potty all day long!!! Mommy keeps telling me to let all my tee tees out at one time, but I don't really see the point in that. If I do it one drop at a time...I get more praise!!! Isn't that what this is all about anyway? I also found that the door knob for the cabinet is a secret microphone at our house, so I like to pass the time by speaking into it like a pilot. You should give it a shot at your house...you never know!

P.S. I think we are all officially strep free. 3rd antibiotic (shot) is a charm. Next time...maybe I will be better about swallowing my meds...cause that shot is a BIG owie!!!

It has been a rainy few days here in the beautiful land of McKinney, Texas. This is a pic of me swinging on my new (to me) swing set in my new (to me) backyard! I am loving this place!!! I keep VERY busy!

So...everyone just HAS to know! You can dance better - be it ballet or tap - if you are completely naked. I take after my Aunt Hope...cause I just don't see the reason for clothing these days. Just saying... But, don't worry! I don't leave the house!

Well, we (and by we, I mean not me) have started the big move! Mom has an eye for decorating, so it will be fun to see how it turn out! We are currently in the process of painting and we had some friends and family over last night to help out. We loved seeing everyone and appreciate their help so much! Weekly Update

Well, ladies and gentlemen...I take after my Daddy! In case you weren't already aware of that! I am officially in love with the lake! We went to Bob Sandlin Lake this weekend with our great friends - The Richards - and I had an absolute blast! I am not sure who had more fun between me and Dad. Mom must have taken a chill pill or something...because she didn't freak out nearly as much as I thought she would! She took me out for a ride on the boat. She let me ride the jet ski with my Daddy. She even got into the lake with me! Dad and I were so proud! She didn't even squirm...much. I think that Dad and I will have her convinced that we need to have a lake house within the year. Dad already has big plans for it. Who needs reality??? Have a great week!

One of the greatest celebrations of the week was my Daddy getting his one year sobriety chip. We are so blessed!!! We love him soooo much!

I got to visit my Daddy at the station too. I know he owns every fire truck in the country...but it is nice getting to actually sit inside of one with him!

Well, ladies and gentlemen! This week has been a whirlwind! Not that I am surprised. I was full of swimming for me..which...as you can see...I am really into these days. I am definitely a bathing beauty! We also had a visit from Aunt Jaime, Paw Paw, Cassie, Emma, and Elena. Mom and Dad went to Mom's 10 year high school reunion. Seems like they had a great time - though they did get home early. Wouldn't you??? Look at who they got to come home to!

Trip to the Beach!

Well, this week has been another one full of fun! We went to the beach club again...goodness...I really love that place. There is sand, sun, and lots of fun! Look at that...I am even a poet. I was pretty irritated when they made me leave. What were they thinking??? I showed my level of irritation to Mom by throwing myself down in the sand and acting like a sea turtle. She thought that was great...especially when it came time to clean the sand out of my suit!!!

After the renewal, Mom and Dad went to San Antonio for a couple days. I stayed with Nana and Papa. Man...I had a GREAT TIME! This was me playing with my new guitar that Mom and Dad brought home. Nothing like playing in your birthday suit!

Well, Mom calls it home - I call it fun! I had such a great time in New Orleans! We were busy, busy, busy doing all kinds of things! Of course, I wasn't busy taking naps - just too much going on. I did get to stay with my Momo...she always makes me smile. She is just too good to us. We went to Storyland...my Mom used to go there when she was little. Then, we went to the aquarium. Then, the zoo! I really liked the elephants. I got to see my Aunt Mickie. She is so funny. And I found out that I am really into crabs. Mom eats them...I just like to look at them. We visited with Grandpa BJ and Donna too! It is always nice to see them. Right before we left, I got to visit my great, great grandfather again. He is so sweet. We all really enjoyed being with our family. We miss them so much and wish we had more time with them. I know that not everyone has the bond that we have, and I am so thankful for it. Hope to see everyone again soon. Here are some pics of the week!!!

As you can see...I have been a very busy lady. I went to a birthday party for my friend Vance and got to swing. I also had a play date with my friend Cohan. We ate cupcakes and made a huge mess. We also had a good time playing in the balls in the living room! The most important celebration was Papa's Birthday! I love celebrating with cupcakes!!! My Papa is my favorite too, so I love to celebrate him!
I also have really gotten into dressing myself. Mom took a picture of me so you could see how talented I am!

Mom has a hard time getting me to sit still these days. So, though it was difficult, she still managed to get a shot of me in my cute, new outfit. I actually like this one too!

Ok ladies and gentlemen! I got to go to Disney On Ice!!! And I LOVED IT!!! I had so much fun. We went with the Wilson's - Man, can Macie dance - and I think everyone had a great time. Our Daddies included! I posted a few pics of the night! This is me when we left. I was ticked off because Mom and dad put me back in the STINKIN' card seat. I hate that thing! Don't they know that I am the only one who has to sit in it and I would like a little variety?

It is hard to see, but this is me and my Maw Maw chilling out while watching TV. I love her so much. I make that clear to her when I yell it out often. On Tuesday, we went to 6 Flags!!! I had SOOOOO much fun. It was great. I rode lots of rides and didn't take a nap the whole time. I couldn't sleep...there was just so much to be excited about.

Sleepy Trip to Target

So, on Saturday, my Mommy had the bright idea to convert my crib to a toddler bed. I wasn't happy about this change and felt the need to share that with her. After about 2 hours...I won. She put the rail back on. But, then she still expected me to take a nap! She is such a nut! I won that too...no nap for me. We went to Target and I realized that I was sooooo sleepy. Who would have thought that I really did need a nap?!? No matter how hard I tried, I could NOT stay awake. As I dozed in and out of consciousness I could hear my Mom and random shoppers laughing at me, but I didn't really care. I did, however, care that my head kept bobbing around. My Mom must love me, because she held me the whole time as she finished her grocery shopping. She said that her arms were burning! Anyway...Mom said that I should post the pics in case anybody needed a good laugh! Here they are! Happy Monday!

Weekend Update

I hope all is well for all of our peeps! We had a VERY busy weekend...well week AND weekend. Wednesday ended with me having a nasty rash and an ear infection - I was not happy about it and I let everyone know. Thursday (see pics above) my Dad and I hung out with Lola and Mom. As you can see...he was a little sleepy. He says that the fire station is kicking his booty. The top picture is me and my friend Landen at his grandpa's birthday party. We like to play in the blocks box. We also went to the Dallas Children's Museum that day - it was sooo much fun. There was tons to do. I even rode the Swan paddle boat - and I didn't even jump out! I'll be posting some pics of that soon. So...stay tuned!

Happy Tuesday guys! These are a couple pics of my new favorite ways to pass the time. While Mommy is cleaning up the kitchen, I like to play in the living room. It is a little game like 52 card pick up - except I use all of the cereal in my bowl...then try to eat them one at a time off of the floor. When Mommy caught me doing this, she wasn't very happy. Geez...she is so sensitive!

This hobby is one that I get from my Daddy...I like to chew on my toes while I watch movies. Mom, Nana, and Papa thought this was funny...but I just think it is a good example of time efficiency!

Well, Mom's first week of staycation is already over and she can't believe how fast it went by! It has been officially decided that I am not ready for potty training yet. Mom knows that it isn't a good idea to push it, and I have made it very clear to her that I am just not interested in sitting on a chair with a hole in it for more than 3 seconds. With that on the back burner for a while, we were able to spend some time together and relax at home a little bit. Daddy started his new job this week and is loving it. We all are! I am posting a pic of me and my baby...I was sleepy so I figured we would take a nap together. You can't really see her very much b/c I tucked her in so well. I love playing with my baby. I also posted a pic of me and my friend Macie dancing to Bella Ballerina. I had a good time watching her DVD and then doing my own dance moves. I was spinning in circles and getting on my tippy toes. I think that I see lessons in my future! I could be in swan lake! Or the nutcracker! We will have to wait and see! I hope everyone had a great week! Gotta go...I am not feeling very good today, so I have yet another appointment to find Nemo.

My Mommy's friends got me a new princess potty for my birthday. I love it! Mom said that I should share a pic with our friends and family. Yes...I do usually pretend potty with my baby in tow. Mommy does it in public restrooms...why shouldn't I??? I know that Mommy's concern is germs and there aren't really any germs in our living room, but practice makes perfect! That is also what Mom says about me sitting there and getting up before I actually USE the potty. She is off of work for the next couple weeks though...she says that we will have this potty thing taken care of by then!

My birthday party was this weekend at Pump It Up Junior and it was soooo much fun! Lots of our friends and family came to play and wish me Happy 2nd Birthday. I felt so special! My Nana made the cutest monkey cupcakes and they tasted great. I got lots of presents - Mommy will be writing thank you notes for days! Daddy really loved my longhorn present and Momo and Aunt Mickie even flew in to be there! Papa sent me a few videos to post for those of you who were unable to attend. I hope you have a great week! Well guys...yesterday was one of those up and down kind of days! The big up is that Daddy got a job offer from Little Elm Fire Department. What awesome news! Congrats Daddy! We are all soooo proud of you. He had his psych evaluation this morning...once we find out whether or not he is crazy...then he will find out his start date. Mommy says that he is only a little nutty - not crazy. So, we are looking forward to his career with Little Elm. Thank you to everyone who has been praying for us! We'll update soon with his results. And for the BIG story of the day...the down part...I had an accident at school. Mommy and Daddy rushed to the school when they found out that I fell down. Nana was very concerned too. She had to call Mom and Dad - I don't think that would have been very easy. My injuries were due to a hula hooping incident. Everyone agrees that I take after my Mommy. After an emergency trip to the pediatric dentist, I went home with one less tooth than I arrived with. They said that I fell very hard onto my face because I didn't want to drop my hula hoop and didn't get to break my fall. The dentist also said that we would need to keep a close eye on the other 3 teeth that I hurt. I hit my nose pretty hard too, along with my upperlip, so they are both pretty swollen and red. Mom and Nana keep calling me Gracie Loo Who. They think that they are funny... Anyway, the whole day was a blur to me - I was pretty ticked off all day long. Who wouldn't be? Nobody likes shots in their mouth. We all agree that I am a tough cookie. Once I woke up from my nap, I was as happy as usual. And the cool thing is that since I have a gap in the front of my mouth - now I can stick my tongue and food and all kinds of other things in the hole where my tooth used to be. Cool, huh??? I posted a pic of me and Daddy dancing today after his psych evaluation and a pic of me yesterday. Mom and Dad bought me an ice cream to cheer me up - it took a while to work but I smiled before it melted all the way.

I hope everyone has had a wonderful year! This past year has been one of the most challenging and rewarding for our family. We have learned so much! We all know that no matter what - God is going to be there to both celebrate with us and hold us when we need comfort. We are so thankful to have the most incredible friends and family. You all mean so much to Mom, Dad, and me! Mom and Dad both thank God daily for each and every one of you. Thank you for the love and support you have given to us over the past year. We can't wait to see what 2009 has in store for us! My birthday party is coming up...invites will be mailed out soon! Mommy and Daddy are taking a trip to Sicily and Italy! Mom will hopefully start school again...at some point! Mom says that I will grow out of the "terrible twos"...but I don't know what that is all about. Dad will find out if he gets hired on with Little Elm Fire Department. Mom and Dad are planning on renewing their vows AND are both doing triathlons. I will move to a toddler bed and get potty trained...and Mom hopes that I will start eating food with some sort of nutritional value along the way. And that is just the stuff that we are PLANNING on. We know that the year will be a great one! We wish nothing less than an incredible year for all of you and blessings beyond what you can imagine! We can't wait to see the new additions to the family that will come with the next year too - Little Miss Robles, Mr. or Miss Willis, and Mr or Miss Richard!!! Happy New Year and We love you!!!

Very Merry Christmas!

Well, I can't believe Christmas has come and gone! I had so much more fun this year than last year! I think my Mom and Dad did too! We celebrated Christmas morning Santa stuff on Christmas Eve morning, because my Daddy had to work on Christmas Day. But, we had just as much fun! You couldn't tell the difference anyway! My Nana, Papa, Aunt Hope (I call her Bah..sounds the same to me), and Uncle Kevin (I call him Uncle Bud) all came over for breakfast. They got there before I woke up, so Papa and Daddy had to wake me up - of course they couldn't wait for me to wake up on my own. And that is when I got to see my presents! I got the coolest tent and a vaccum and all kinds of other stuff! I will post some pics of that soon. We went to Christmas Eve service at church. Well, my family did...I spent most of the time in the hallway. I did come in at the end and spent about 15 mins. trying to spit out my Mom's candle. She still managed to really enjoy the service. And at the end I clapped and said Yeah! after we sang Silent Night...I'm not sure why I was the only one. Christmas day we spent at my Grandmama and Grandpapa's house and my Nana and Papa's house. My Grandmama and Grandpapa gave me a kitchen - so cool! Nana and Papa gave me Elmo...he does everything! The pics below are from that and there will be more to come on those days too. I am so excited that it is the week of Christmas!!! I can't wait to see what Santa has brought me! We will be going to Longview to see my Grandmama and Grandpapa this year, so I will be sure to have my Mom take some pictures. Of course, we will also have some present action shots posted soon. I just got into opening presents recently - it is really fun to see what is wrapped up in that paper! I dont' really understand the point of wrapping it, but whatever makes you grown up people happy is acceptable to me. I also got to put baby Jesus in the manger this year at our house. My Mommy says that baby Jesus is what Christmas is all about. I think that baby Jesus is great, but Mommy made sure I didn't break him...he was a gift from Aunt Mickie and is VERY fragile. I don't really know what fragile means...but I am sure I am not good at it. She looked a little bit nervous.

This past weekend we went to Tulsa to see our family on my Daddy's side. I had so much fun playing with my cousins. They were so sweet to me! I posted a couple pics from our trip. I also posted another picture of me being funny...everybody laughs when I put stuff on my head...so I drove the majority of the way to Oklahoma with my donuts up there. GOOD TIMES!!!

This past week has been very busy! Christmas is coming up so fast!!! I can't wait! I am super excited for Santa to come! We went Christmas shopping at the mall - which meant that I got to ride the carousel with my Papa. I'm not sure, but I think he may have enjoyed it more than me! We both had so much fun. We also went to Tyler to celebrate my Great Grandmama and Great Grandpapa's anniversary. They have been married for a LONG TIME! On the way there, I figured I would entertain my Mom and Dad by putting my monkey on my head and making funny faces. Mom says I am acting a lot like my Daddy lately - that is just fine with me! He is so funny!!! Mommy says he is just nutty, but I think he is hilarious!

I was a little crabby at the beginning of this day...and by little...I mean...REALLY. But, I had one of Haley's pralines and that changed my whole perspective on the day and on life in general. This smile was post praline!

Yesterday my Mom found out that an Olympic distance triathlon is a 1.5K swim, a 40K bike, and a 10K run. Now she has decided that by this time next year, she will have completed one. So...hold her to it! She has some MAJOR training to do! And yes, she will COMPLETE one, that does NOT necessarily mean she will win it. And, of course, she also has to learn how to swim like an athlete...not like a doggy. But I have to say...she is pretty strong willed...they say I get it from her or my Nana or my Momo...I think I get it from all of them. But, I know that she can do it!

Good Afternoon ladies and gentlemen!!! This weekend is almost over and has been loaded with fun and exciting things to do! On Friday night my Mommy and I met up with her friend Nicki and my pal Vance. Then, we went to the Christmas parade in downtown McKinney. I really liked it, but it was a little chilly, so our Moms had to bundle us up reallllllly well! After that, we went to a coffee shop so that we could take pics with Santa. I don't know what all the hype is about...he is cool and all, but I am not really into him. I wasn't about to take a picture with him either...reservation or not. So, Mom and Nicki had coffee, I had my cookie, and Vance got his pics with Santa. Right before we left, they tricked me into taking a couple pics with him, but I put an end to that once I figured it out. I will be sure to post the couple pics we got just as soon as my Papa emails them to my Mom, so until then, take a look at how funy we were looking while trying to keep warm!

I went poo poo in the potty today!!! My Mommy asked me if I was fixing to go and I told her I was, so she yanked me up, yanked my drawers down, and I finished in my potty. I have NEVER seen her react to anything quite like that! She started jumping up and down and clapping and cheering. She was so proud of me! I was pretty proud too. I really like to flush the potty and this time my Mommy let me do it! She thinks this is a major break through...but I don't think she should go out and buy any panties yet!!! Still...very big news!!!

Happy Tuesday everybody! We are still working on those Thanksgiving pictures, so I figured I would give you a couple pictures to look at from my first time to eat beignets!!! WOW!!! Does it get any better than that??? My Mom and I split an order, but she ate 2 and I only got 1...so I had to take some of my Grandpa Buddy's order too. Mom was super excited to go there too. Her trip to New Orleans was completed with her much needed trip to Cafe Du Monde. We also got to visit with Aunt Mickie and Grandpa Buddy - which is always fun! I now know that I am really fond of powdered sugar...and Mom and Dad know that I can literally bounce off of the walls.

Well, I hope you have all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for...and most of the people who read this blog top that list. My Mom and Dad and I love our friends and family so much. We all know how blessed we are. Thank you for being a part of our lives. We thank God every day for each and every single one of you. And here I am at home...after the incident that will be referred to as "JoAnne's Fabric Fiasco". There aren't any pictures of this event...Mom says that she is just thankful that we both made it out alive. She also advises against ever attending a fabric store with a sleepy toddler. She should have known better though - who was she kidding anyway!?!? Oh! I almost forgot...this is a picture of me licking the door like the puppy. He was so sweet! He is my pal.

When my Mommy decided that it was time to stop chasing me around the house and around all the guests at Landon's party, then we were headed home. I wanted to wear my hat, so Mommy hooked me up and I was happy for about 10 seconds. Mommy had to pull over to take it off...and put it on...and take it off...then she said that she was sorry and that she loved me and she gave up.

My Mommy said that I was "wearing her out", so we went outside to play and run off some steam. It worked and I had a really good time playing house.

Landon had a balloon man at his party! Check out my awesome hat. I waited for him to make me one patiently...OK...so I got a little impatient, but I REALLY wanted one! I am a little blurry in this shot because my Mommy's camera isn't good enough at keeping up.

Early Thanksgiving

Yesterday at school we celebrated Thanksgiving! It was so much fun. My Mommy came to school and ate lunch with me! I was a little bit sleepy so I had to hold my monkey and have my binky, but we still had a great time. I have found that the binky is a good way to get my Mommy to stop putting that stinkin' camera in my face all the time. She says something about how it makes it hard for her to see my beautiful smile...whatever...you can see my beautiful smile from a mile away. And I say cheese now when she asks. That Mom of mine...she is so demanding! She even wanted me to take a nap after lunch. Geez! I posted a picture of me in my pilgrim hat...I wore it for a whole minute and a half. I also learned today that I LOVE cranberry sauce. My Mom says that she doesn't like it at all, so I went ahead and took care of hers too. I don't like turkey though. I didn't really eat any of the brownie either - but I did smear it all over the table and my hands and my pretty dress. Mom and my teachers thought it was so funny. Ok, well, maybe they didn't laugh very hard, but at the end of the day - it was ok because the day was great!

Hello ladies and gentlemen! I hope everyone has had a good weekend. I am feeling much better and my Mommy and Daddy don't have to give me those breathing treatments anymore, so we are all a lot happier! I even got to go to my Mom's work on Friday for their Fall Festival. I attached a picture of my pal, Paris, who went with us. He is so funny! I like when he rides in the car with us because we get to talk and laugh together. We chat and chat but the big people don't get it - big surprise! I also got to RIDE A PONY!!! I am now expecting one for Christmas. I loved it!!! The rest of the weekend was pretty low key. My Mommy said that I had to put a picture of me in the clothes hamper on here. I climbed in when she was attempting to do laundry. This is before the "incident" where I fell over. Don't worry - I'm OK and I do all my own stunts! That ticked me off though, so I showed that hamper who was boss. Anyway...hope everyone has a great week. Take care of yourselves!

On Saturday night I wasn't feeling very well and my Mommy and Daddy both agreed that I should not be barking like a seal, so they took me to Acute Kids Urgent Care. My Daddy works there, so they know me pretty well! Every other time my Mom and Dad have brought me, they said that it was viral and that I would feel better soon. Well, this time, they said that my lungs didn't sound clear like they usually do. I thought my Mom and Dad were going to fall out in the clinic room when they told us that I needing a breathing treatment. Of course...those of you who know my Mommy would expect that she was full of questions! They said that I should be fine soon, but that I did need to start taking a breathing treatment (Albuterol) that night. They also said that I should take a steroid for two days and the breathing treatment 3 times a day for 3 days. Long story short: I HATE BREATHING TREATMENTS. My Mommy and I cry 3 times a day now. Whoever invinted that STUPID nebulizer thing should be punished - I'm talking major time out chair time for that guy!!! Who wants to go through that doo doo? When I see my Mom take out the machine I let her know that I am NOT OK with it. Today is Monday and I still sound like a seal! I told them that the treatments weren't working...for some reason...nobody listens to my medical advice. Anyway, my Daddy is bringing me to the doctor tomorrow for a follow up. Hopefully, we can figure something out then. Or maybe the pediatrician will be intelligent enough to just listen to my treatment plan! I guess the good news is that bronchiolitis probably isn't contagious. That makes me curious on how I got it though!!! I went ahead and posted a picture of my first treatment...I wasn't as combative during that one because it just confused me. Then...there is a picture of me worn out after all these meds. The breathing treatment makes me REALLY excited and I get to do A LOT of things at one time. I am ALL OVER THE PLACE! But, I usually crash for a couple hours. Then, I am ready to go again! Who needs sleep anyway? Not me and not my Mommy!

On Saturday we got to go to Longview to celebrate my Great Grandpapa's Birthday! It was so great to see ALL of my cousins on the Eaton side. That is a rare treat! I wish we could do it more often! Ok, so my Mommy took me to the sample sale at Market Hall on Friday. It was GREAT. My Mommy was so excited that I thought she might hyperventilate! Man...she could have stayed there all day! I was ready to go long before she was, so I let her know that it was time to leave by throwing a couple fits and tossing my new shoes onto the floor. They are brown and have sequins...so cute! I posted a pic of me and my pal Lilly hanging out again while our Mommy's tried to get into the booths. Lilly is so funny! I like to play with her! Our Moms seem to have similar taste in clothes...I am sure we will see pics of that soon too!!!

Well, I really had a good time shoppng last night. I am such a big girl now that I let my Mommy know that I would be the ONLY one to push the cart. Of course, when she tried to take over, I threw myself onto the dirty floor and let her know how I felt about it. I think it is fun to go limp in public and say ouch when my Mommy or Daddy try to pick me up. People look at them like they are nuts!!! Ha ha ha!!! Anyway, we got out of there in one piece - much faster than usual too! Have a great day... Tomorrow is FRIDAY!

Trip to the Park

I love going to the park! My Nana took me today and I had so much fun!!! This is me playing in the dirt...then on the swing...then chasing the ducks! I also really like to jump now and my family is finally starting to understand all the words I have been saying. They don't always get it...but I have been letting that slide. We were at Town Lake in McKinney. I also posted some video of me and the ducks. They are so funny!!! Oh - and just so you know - people don't eat the same food as ducks. Good Morning! I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween. I posted a few pics from our night in Krum at my Daddy's Fire Station. I really love candy!!! I ate soooo much. I really enjoyed my popcorn ball too - until my Mommy ticked me off and I threw it on the ground. She makes me so mad sometimes...I was just running...who cares that I was headed right for the street. I know what cars look like and there weren't any coming anyway! So...I posted a picture before that incident and then a pic of me and Mom and then me and Dad. On Saturday I went to my friend Carters' birthday party. It was at the Natatorium. I had a lot of fun! I think he did too. I wanted to go down the big silde, but they said I was too short. Then, I wanted to go down the little slide, but they wouldn't let me go head first, so I didn't go. I showed them! For the rest of the party I pushed everyone else down and clapped for them. I was just helping, but I don't think they appreciated it. Mommy let me know that it was time to go shortly after that! The weekend was great and we just all enjoyed spending time together as a family! Goodness...we are so blessed!

My Mommy also asked me to post a prayer request for her friend Sarah. She was found last week unconscious. She is diabetic and didn't know that she had pneumonia. She is in ICU and is not doing well. Please pray for a miracle for Sarah. And please pray for her family - they have been through a lot already. THANKS!

You will not believe what I saw yesterday! It was the biggest guinea pig ever!!! My Mom didn't even know what it was! At first it FREAKED ME OUT, but once I realized it wasn't going to eat me alive, I warmed up to him. His name was Gray and he was at my school. Mom wanted me to post a video of us making friends. I was so excited! There is also a picture of me with my Papa - I am so happy to see him in the mornings. I get excited when we turn onto their street and can't get out of my carseat fast enough when I see him at the door waiting for me. I am not sure what I did to deserve such awesome grandparents, but I am surely blessed to have them! Last pic is of me at my Halloween party. Yes, I was eating another cupcake. They make me so happy. For some reason, I was really antsy for the rest of the day. I wonder why...

Well, today I get to wear my bee costume to school! Yes...my Nana and Papa found it and decided that I should be a bee. Mommy and Daddy said it fit well because it had a stinger just like my left hook! These are pictures from my morning with Nana and Papa before leaving for school. Isn't my Nana pretty? As you can also see...I found a way to be sure that I get cupcakes early in the morning - I just made it clear that I would NOT be taking any pictures unless I got one. Works every time! This crew is so into pictures...I think that I could get a million dollars if I played my cards right. Mom and Dad are supposed to be dressing up on Friday. Of course, I will be sure that pics go up of them too. Mom is trying to come up with something in the bug family, but Dad says that he is not wearing anything that puts him at risk because we will be in Krum and his fire buddies will all be there. I think he should be a stink bug. It fits! It should be fun to see what they come up with! I hope everyone has a fun and safe halloween. Happy Tuesday everyone! I wanted to check in today and give a shout out to my friend Arleen!!! Well...I guess she is my Mommy's friend too. She is starting her radiation today at 1:00pm. Chemo starts tomorrow at 8:30am. Please say some prayers for her. We have been praying and praying and God has answered a lot of prayers so far. Arleen is a strong lady and we know she will be just fine when this is all over! The doctors say that this is her final step in defeating her cancer, so we are all so proud of her!!! She has shown my Mommy and me that God hears our prayers and that He loves us very much. Get well soon Arleen! We'll see you soon - maybe a little thinned out in the hair department, but just as beautiful - I am sure!

Happy Monday to everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Ours was very busy but good! The weather has been so nice, so Mommy and I have been enjoying it together. We went to Town Lake to feed the ducks and I showed them who was boss. I tried to chase them into the lake, but my Mommy stopped me right before I could jump in - she is no fun sometimes! It is the week of Halloween and I am going to be dressing up as a bee. Everybody decided that it would fit well, since a bee has a stinger. I have been fussed at a couple times lately - evidently I am not supposed to cause physical harm if someone ticks me off. But, I am just setting my boundaries! And that boy at school tried to take my baby! Also...everyone is probably aware that this time of year my Mommy usually sticks me in a pumpkin and takes pictures. She did try and I let her know that I am over it. When she pulled out the M&Ms I did cooperate a little, but only briefly. We have posted a couple of those shots for your viewing pleasure! I also attached one from last year so you could marvel at how much I have grown!

Good Morning! And happy hump day! Yup...closer to the weekend than Monday. That is a beautiful thing! We hope that everyone is having a great week. I know that my Maw Maw is. She is visiting our Aunt Barb in Virginia. She gets to go to the American Indian Museum today...hope she says hi to my ancestors!!! I posted a picture from my afternoon with Mom on Sunday. This was right after our gelato. As you can see - ice cream makes me happy! Mom asked me to give everyone a heads up: We got a huge pumpkin that night! If you remember my pictures last year, then you know where she is going with that. Stay tuned...they are gonna be super cute! DUH!

Man!!! It was a busy weekend! It was fun though. On Friday my Mommy, Kirsten, and my friend Lilly had a garage sale. They weren't very happy with it because there weren't very many buyers, but we did get to hang out! I posted a couple pics from that day. One is of me and my baby...I just love her so much! I really like to poke her in the eye and Mommy thinks it is funny when I throw her down on the ground when I get bored. But, she says that I am a good little Mommy because I hug her and give her kisses all the time too. The other picture from the garage sale is of my friend Lilly and her "make me an offer" sticker. Her Mommy and my Mommy were saying that they were going to price us to sell!!! As if there is enough money in the world! I thought it was so funny when people would come look through our stuff! On Saturday we woke up really early to meet Mommy at the finish line for her 5K. She did the Race for the Cure and she said it was really great to see me, Daddy, and Aunt Hope cheering her on at the finish line. I posted a picture of her, Tara, and Tosha for everyone to see. After the race it was right back to the garage sale to finish up! My Mommy went to our friend Paris's 14th birthday party to drop off a present because I needed a nap. She kept telling me that I was wearing her out at the garage sale. I was so sleepy and couldn't nap at the garage sale! What if I missed something?!?! That night Mommy and Daddy went on a date and I stayed with Aunt Hope and 2 of her friends. Sunday was a great day at church and lunch. I got my nap in that day - Mommy said I wouldn't miss it! Later that night we had some bonding time - just me and Mom. We got some gelato...YUM! We hope you all had great weekend too!

So, my Mommy and Daddy have officially decided that I am what they keep calling "strong willed". I am not totally sure what it means, but I AM sure that it is probably the same thing as cute or beautiful or perfect in just about every way. I have noticed that I hear those words a lot. I went with my Mommy to a Southern Living party last night and for some reason we left early. My Mommy kept following me around and picking up the cookies that kept falling out of my bowl. She also kept saying sorry to all the nice, new ladies we met when I would grab their legs or yell at them. They were happy to talk back to me! My Nana keeps saying this "strong willed" word too, but my Papa just says "Yes" a lot. I like talking to him! Aunt Hope is pretty much the same. My Uncle Kevin just tells my Mommy that I am loud. I don't know what he is talking about! Loud? Not me! I am figuring out how to talk back to them now. I told my Nana "No night night" the other day and her and my Mommy thought it was just the funniest thing. I REALLY love the word "no". I like it so much that I say that to any and every question asked! So...I am doing pretty good these days! Living it up actually. My only current concern is that I keep hearing everyone plotting to take away my binky soon... They must be CRAZY if they think I am going to allow that!

These are just a couple of my new hobbies. Well...the potty isn't really a big deal to me currently, but my Mommy says I should start getting familiar with it - whatever that means. The trumpet is so much fun though! The neighbors LOVE when Daddy and I play it. Daddy says that he is no Motzart yet, but I am sure he is headed that direction. I am not sure if I enjoy playing the trumpet or dancing more...pics of my dancing skills are soon to come!

A couple weeks ago my Mommy took me to meet up with some of my friends at a horse barn. She thought I would love the mini horses, but she should have known better! I really liked the big, black horse. I may be little on the outside, but I am big on the inside!!! I had a really good time playing with my friends - Macie, Landon, Bella, and Aubrey. Bella pulled me around on this wagon looking thing for a while and I thought that was awesome. Of course, my goofy Mommy had to make me dress accordingly...so I had this cute dress and cowgirl boots on. The boots were a little bit too big so I was irritated at moments, but I hung in there. My favorite part was when we got to swing after we visited with the baby horse...Mommy called it a colt. That Mommy knows everything!

Good Morning all!!! My Mommy and Daddy tell me that I have the most incredible friends and family members. Unfortunately, not all of them are close by and Mommy says that she hasn't been able to make everyone move yet. She also says that we don't get to visit with the people who do live close by enough because life is crazy. So...this is our attempt to fill everyone in on how life is treating us! I will make sure that they post pictures as frequently as possible - I am sure I will be featured the most! If I have learned anything in the 20 1/2 months that I have been here, it is that life is full of blessings! Sometimes there are these things that my Mommy calls "opportunities", but when the going gets tough, she says the tough get praying and things always seem to turn out OK! I hope that you enjoy reading along and catching up with us. Please don't hesitate to post back and fill us in on how you are doing.
